Another glorious sunset on the South Coast, Princess Bay. This is a bracket shot, composed of three images with different settings to catch all light and shadows of the scene. This is to overcome the disadvantage of digital cameras compared to the human eye (cameras have by far lower dynamic ranges). This one was rather tricky, as I just got back from a break on Kapiti Coast and had no tripod etc. with me. Getting three exposures, one of which long (about half a second in this case), and showing the exact same scene, is quite a task. I managed about four such combined photos in that sort of quality - out of about 300 tries! Here the three different exposures:
