Island Bay, Wellington. A beautiful place by the beach, usually sheltered by Taputeranga Island, which gave the bay its name. This rock is just a bit further out to sea, so it gets the full force of the winds. I like its ragged symmetrical shape, even more pronounced in this image by the Sun shining through the sea spray from behind. This was taken one windy morning.
