I loved to shoot those scenes.
Yes, they wear no helmets for the shooting. But, this is a dead end road in the middle of nowhere. We made sure there was no traffic and we were shooting at really low speed, so this was perfectly safe!
For prints, or if you want to book such a shooting yourself, please contact me.
Again, playing with natural light. The golden hour is perfect for such images. Beautiful soft light, warm tones...
But getting the main subject lit up and the sky still colorful, is quite a challenge.
Yesterday I felt like practicing some natural light photography. Actually I wanted to play with portraits, but unfortunately, there was no model available at such short notice. So Nature had to do. Here the first edits from some two hours of shooting!
As you can see, at the moment I do have a thing for those industrial, perspective, surfaces and structures things we find around our back yards...
There are many places, close to the city or even within, where you might expect Elven, Hobbits or Orks - Depending on the time of day you're going there...
Sometimes things are hidden in plain sight, or just around the corner. Often it's well worth looking beyond the surface - or walk through some back yard...

"What MS means to me
When you meet me, you may not realize I have MS. I look well. Most of my symptoms are hidden but like many people with MS, I experience a lot of pain. You cannot see pain. Every day it feels like my feet are on fire. I am a very positive person and like to appear happy all the time, but sometimes I find it hard to pretend that all is well."

We had a great time at the Heyday Beer Co Beardy McBeer Face party on Saturday night, 02/09/2018!
Heyday threw the party in an effort to raise funds for 'the key to life', promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention in New Zealand.
Thanks for having us guys!
