One of those amazing Sunsets we had recently, here in Wellington.
Seen from Moa Point, Panorama of 3 shots in portrait orientation. Sadly our visitor, Southern Right Whale "Matariki" left us after a week of spectacular displays.
Matariki is also the Maori name for the Pleiades Star Cluster and the season of first rising. marker of the new year. The strong winds also let up finally, so on Saturday 14/07/2018 it was finally time for the fireworks. Those are re-edits, as I didn't have much time for night shots lately - at least not for such elaborate ones.
I hope you enjoy them anyway! I passed this beautiful house quite some times, till I finally thought of bringing my camera along. It does not look that spooky in daylight, but I thought it looks rather awesome this way, in a stacked night shot, in moonlight...
