My latest, and already very talented model. Isn't she gorgeous?
I learned to know her parents quite a while ago. They will move, so I decided I need to get at least a few shots of their little one, as there was still a chance.

I met up with Saidan on Cuba Street, to discuss some future collaboration. I also brought my Camera, just in case, I'm happy I did. Those un-staged test shots are promising, I'm looking forward to working with her.
Some smoking hot Attic
Don't play with Fire... Model: Alysha Akula MUA: Ania Kingi- Smith Costume: Ckfilmdesign Yesterday and today Aurora Australis was very active.
I didn't have time yesterday, but went out today - and met half Wellington on the South Coast. Parking and traffic issues from Red Rocks to Breaker Bay... I settled for Tarakena Bay. The first Photo was the first of the night, a Panorama stitched together from 18 single shots in 2 rows of 9. The second Panorama was my last of the night, 50 shots in 5 rows of 10. Unfortunately there wasn't much of an Aurora left for it, but there will be three more when I finished editing them. I've been out from 8 PM till 10:30 PM, editing of those two Photos took me till nearly 3:30 AM... I still have a lot of photos to go through from our GTC event some weeks ago.
Now I'm getting creative in editing those, to show more different stuff, as you might have noticed already. I'm rather proud of this outcome here: Silhouette Model: Hayley Awhina Deanna Bush MUA: Vanessa Leigh Forlong Swimsuit: EVEM Towards the end of our shooting, we've been looking for some props - Found this kettle sitting in a corner...

Model: Alysha Akula MUA: Ania Kingi- Smith Costume: Ckfilmdesign So, I tried to get some photos of the storm that was supposed to hit Wellington today (dubbed "The Cookie Monster")
Those ripples were all I got, I'd rather call those "Water Macros". I used a 70-300 mm lens and have been up close, around 6-7 meters. Hard to get sharp shots that way ;-) Pretty enough though... And better safe than sorry. Rain and Storm means to me, re-editing older pics. Unless I get to see some nice Swells like in 2016.

It turned out to be quite a lot of Photos so far, including the CubaDupa Street Festival and Michael, Cuba Barbers and Courtenay Barbers Director, playing there with their Band Sterling Hern (Michael - Singer, Guitar, Ainslie - Singer, Guitar, Geoff- Singer, Bass, Andrew - Drums). This will be an ongoing project, to capture the vibe of Cuba Barbers, Courtney Barbers and Cuba Street, Wellington. Here a little selection, more to come. Imagination...
As North Island is virtually drowning, and I didn't feel like sleep, I just browsed through some old (and new) photos, pushed everything into Photoshop, and that's the result... It's a composite (yes it is) of an old pano (36 shots in 2 rows), 2 of my own moon shots, Jupiter is borrowed from an Astro site, and a shot of Alysha during a recent fashion shooting.
