How the setup looks like, and how the actual photo looks like (just the background for now).
Those shots are just mobile shots, so not the final quality. The final pics are due soon though.

... For product shots, and the first test results.
Those test objects are just some personal pieces, I used them only to test the camera setup. Here the video created by Hayden Warren. This gives some insight in what we did over this weekend, all the hard work involved, as well as all the fun! Yesterday I happened to have my camera with me when walking around Wellington Waterfront in the evening. Oh yes, I know, the camera should be welded to me, but somehow I lacked inspiration for a few days - Back to the real me again though!

Models: Kymberly Tasker, Manuela Antonia Astorga-Da Costa Makeup: Erin Kelly Costume: CKFilmdesign Princess Bay, Wellington South Coast, Sunset on Thursday. The Sun was actually behind me, and pretty pink clouds above me, which lead to quite interesting colors.
My friend, and very talented Makeup Artist Jinna, who is actually pregnant, asked me to do some shots with her, her daughter and her dog. Not an easy task, when dog and daughter don't agree with the photographer - But it was certainly a lot of fun.
The last round for our GTC weekend was a shooting with Kelsey, and my friend's Harley.
What a beautiful combination... Model: Kelsey Kauri Makeup: Vanessa Forlong Hair Design: Michael Beel Motorbike: Rob Ingledew When we had the first costume fitting with CKFilmdesign, back in December 2017, my model Olivia fell in love with a certain costume. I liked it too, and found it fitted perfectly into my Game of Thrones collection.
So I started making the correct sword, "Needle", and then, at GTC, we caught on camera what I envisioned before. I'm very happy with the outcome. There will be some more later on. My version of "Arya Stark" - I don't really care about the blonde hair: Model: Olivia Tilyard Makeup: Ania Kingi-Smith Hair Design: Michael Beel Costume: CKFilmdesign Sword "Needle": by Me The second time I participated in this event. Organized by Shonty Rogan and Paul Maka-Kea, at Trentham Racecourse, this is the biggest TFP event (=Trade For Pictures) in New Zealand. Involved were roughly 100 people this year, including Photographers, Models, Makeup Artists, Hair Designers, Fashion Designers, Allrounders, people providing props, etc. It was a stunning event, again, and, as far as I can see, a huge success. This event gives everyone the opportunity to work under real, professional conditions, though there is no payment involved. It's a vibrant mix of excitement and outstanding results, an opportunity to network, meeting new people and catching up with old friends. Special thanks also to my assistant, Amelia, who supported me fiercely on the first day. As much fun as this is, it is actually real decent work for everyone involved. Here my first results, from two days of shooting with three models per day: "The White Lady" Model: Briar English Makeup: Mickey Patterson Hair Design: Brianne Sarah Dress: Aeon Infinitas Special Guest: Karl, the Skull "Arya Stark" Model: Olivia Tilyard Makeup: Ania Kingi-Smith Hair Design: Michael Beel Costume: CKFilmdesign Sword: by Me "She-Biker"
