Here something rather different, again.
The following is the reason I didn't post as much as I usually do. There will be a big photo shoot the upcoming weekend, and with one of my models I planned to go ahead with my "Game of Thrones" series. Olivia Tilyard will be Aria Stark. The Costume will be provided by CK Filmdesign, but I still needed her sword "needle. I decided to make it myself then. This took me about 8 days. I did similar things in the past, well, very distant past actually, but it was fun, to make my own props again. I think there will be more to come. Here the result, and further down the actual steps, with friendly support from Ryan, "Unseen Jewelry":

A fake, though a very elaborate one.
There were Thunder Storms predicted for Wellington last night. But somehow they failed to show up. So I just created my own one... ... Prevented me from venturing outside - Well, I went out, actually, and now my camera bag is in front of the heater to dry, and so are my clothes... And my lenses and cameras are on their shelves.
Only thing for me to do, browsing through my archives, and re-edit some older shots. Still fun! This statue behind the Te Papa Museum on Wellington's Waterfront, is quite a popular motive for snapshots. It's one of my favorites too. This time I did try a very different angle. Wellingtonians know what I mean, for everyone else, there's a second shot showing it how most people see it. No, I had no boat, and I didn't get wet feet... And here the usual perspective. As you see, it takes some creativity to get the angle I used in the photo above.
On 29/01/2018, on the way to a shooting location, I saw this scene through the car window - I just had to stop and catch it.
