Design by Fifi Colston Creative:
"Last night, after 22 years entering the World of WearableArt (WOW) award show and 24 garments in show, I won first place in a section!
Your persistance is your measure of your belief in yourself. My motto for life.
I persisted and I got there! I won the Weta workshop Science Fiction section with 'The Organ Farmer.'
I get to intern at Weta Workshop for 4 weeks (and pay off the shoes I bought for the show- though TBH, they were only $40, so I get to profit!). There was a large cheque attached to the award too!
Here are a collection of photos shot by the amazing Werner Kaffl and thanks to Shonty Rogan for organizing the photography session and Hans Landon-Lane for modelling it. Love you guys!"
Here the original entry Photos:
And here the "Organ Farmer" in action:
This time another interesting Character of the Series. We believed the original TV Character is different than in the books. "We do not sow", the words of House Greyjoy, they mean they are raiders. So they would not wear uniform style armor like they do in the series, but rather wear what they took on their raids. So it's not meant to represent the Character like shown on TV, but rather the Character in the books.
Model and Styling:
This one is my biggest composite so far. The landscape built up from scratch, from 10 different photos, plus the horses, plus the pool and reflections, Moon beams flares etc...
Something quite different :-)
This one was taken in 2013, in Picton. At that time I still used a point and shoot camera, Panasonic DMZ-TZ30, ISO 400 (Auto), 1/30 second (Auto as well) f4 (Manual).
This means, it's not just the gear one needs to get a good photograph. If it were just the gear, what's the point of being a photographer. This doesn't mean everyone with a point and shoot cam or a high end mobile phone is automatically a photographer.
For me, personally, This Panasonic camera was one step on the path to where I am now.
Still, better gear means better quality, from technical point of view.
My lovely client Kim asked me to create some magical photos with her Horses.
This is the first one of the series, Aila...
