Last Sunday, some rough sea on the south coast around sunset, few clouds, all gold tinted and sunrays in sea spray... Perfect to grab the gear and shoot.
When I arrived in Houghton Bay, I discovered I wasn't the only one having that idea - I didn't expect to anyway.
Actually, it was some good opportunity to get some street-style photography in a very different environment.
I was amused by the number of people using their mobile phones though. Not just to take photos, but to txt etc, rather than watching their surroundings. A bit sad, I think. Personally, I'm out there for photos, right, but I usually pack the camera away after my shots and enjoy the view without a camera in between.
